BreskensIn the village of Breskens we can still find nine
St.bunkers, situated on the old Fortress "Fort Frederik
Hendrik III" and along the road (N58) from the
ferry-harbour.
Seven other bunkers can still be found one
kilometer south of the ferry-harbour along the N58. The
bunkers are a Regelbau 607, three Regelbau
630, one Regelbau 112neu, one Regelbau 633 for M19
grenade-launcher and a Regelbau 642. After the
war a piece of one of the Regelbau 630's was demolished and the
armoured turret of the Regelbau 112neu was removed for scrap. The
only way to enter the Regelbau 633 is through the emergency-exit,
in the ammunitionroom a nice phrase can still be seen. The very
rare Regelbau 642 can be found near the sportcentre and is
completely under ground, the bunker was a combination of a Mg-
bunker and a anti-tankgun bunker (Stand für 4.7cm Festungspak
und M.G).
GroedeIn the little village of Groede still exists a
bunker complex. It's the only remaining complete complex in
Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Regelbau 669 There are also three tobruks, a V.f. Sanitäterstand, a V.f. Gruppenunterstand and a un-loading platform. The Regelbau 134S was specially adapted for the assembly of casualties and the battery commander was located in the Regelbau 502. Nowadays the battery-site is changed into a Deer-camp and many of the bunkers (which were camouflaged as houses) were put under the ground. Ben Muller has written and published book about the Battery: The book contains 12 drawings of the various types of bunkers and also 38 foto's . Many of these foto's weren taken during the Second World War. The book is called: Stützpunkt Groede Publisher: Ben Muller; Koudekerkseweg 120,

OostburgIn Oostburg we can still find some bunkers which were a
part of the headquarters of the 712. Infanterie-Division.
Originally the site consited of 18 St.-bunker, but in the fall of
1989, 14 bunkers were demolished. Among the demolished bunkers
were a Regelbau 117a and a Regelbau 618. De remaining bunkers can
be found at the north-side of the Breedestraat and are a Regelbau
117a, a Regelbau 621, a Regelbau 134 and a Regelbau
134S. The Regelbau 621 is on the nomination for being demolished. A special feature of this bunker is a tobruk which is located at the front side of the bunker and which has to be accessed by a corridor.
