Fliegerhorst Venlo, Netherlands

The Fliegerhorst ("military airfield") Venlo/Netherlands (codenamed Nassau), was one of the larger military airfields. It was partly in the Netherlands and partly in Germany. It was heavily bombed during World War II. After the war the part on Dutch soil was almost completely demolished. On the German side, a large number of structures can be found in the woods.
