Stahltür in a Regelbau 600 (Dunkirk)

This bipartite door was used to gas-proof close passages that were in direct contact with the open air (or a combat room). The reason for the door to be bipartite was to make sure that when the lower half of the door was stuck because of debris (caused by a bombardment) the crew could still leave the bunker through the upper half of the door.
