Deckenplatte for a Regelbau 601
The Deckenplatte for the Regelbau 601 was used to
give this Anti-tank gun garage a lower profile. Because of this
lower profile it was easier to integrate the bunker into his
surroundings. The Deckenplatte consisted of three
plate combinations placed on the 9 meter long garage. Each
combination had a thickness of 22cm and measured 2,70 x 3,40
meters, the armoured plates used were a 726P3, Stahlvorsatzplatte
f. 7P7 and a 7p7, Stahlscharteplatte (MG).
